The Mookie Was Robbed Concert
Our friend Zsigo Feri (Mookie Brando) had a bunch of his music equipment stolen a few weeks ago. Mookie has helped many of you out at some time, whether it be lending you his concert speakers, lending an ear, giving you an opportunity to perform on stage, helping you move, or buying you a beer when you are down. Now we had the opportunity to give something back to this friend and musician we all know and love as Mookie Brando. On stage <!-- pagebreak -->rocking for Mookie were 6 bands that all donated their time and energy for the night!

All proceeds went to help buying Mookie some replacement equipment and keeping that groovy music playing for years to come. I would like to thank the bands, the 120+ people that came out to support Mookie last night, as well as the volunteer ticket takers Anna Sandor, Zsofia Szalai, Tamas Konczol, Claudia Lochner, Dima Lambrianov, Nadejda Artiomenco, and Tamara Steger. Also thanks to After Music (Emese and Szabolcs) for providing the space for free, agreeing to give all the door proceeds to Mookie, and providing Csongor the great sound technician.
It was a fantastic night, with a great community vibe, rocking bands, and kick-ass music.
